Added some polish and lots of planning


A quick log:

  • lowered quality so its easier to test multiple games at once (will add settings for it later)
  • reload on death
  • fixed server browser bug
  • fixed weapon and player model clipping
  • made recoil feel way better
  • added a dynamic crosshair
  • replaced all models and animations that weren't original


What is being planned (screenshots):

The main thing is that we are planning on changing from a randomized selection of upgrades to an upgrade tree. This will let you choose what you want while also keeping it from being repetitive. It will still have things like upgradable health, but when you get far enough in the tree it will become things like instant reloading, damage reflecting, lifestyle, and wallhacks.

Another thing that will be changed drastically is the flow of the game. Right now it is just a deathmatch sort of thing, but we plan on changing it to a more game-round-match flow. By keeping the rounds limited to a max of 20, it provides an incentive to actually fight the other person instead of getting overpowered.
